I can teach you lead guitar. I can show you five Extended Scale patterns that cover the entire neck from the nut to the sound hole. These five scales will play ever major scale, every minor scale and every modal scale without changing one note of the five patterns. With these five patterns you will be able to find and play the lead on thousands of songs in all types of music. All you will need to know is what key the song is played in.
I teach finger picking and open tunings. You will learn patterns that allow you to play bass, rhythm and melody at the same time. We can cover styles from early blues, such as Mississippi John Hurt, to people like John Renborne and Davy Graham, and I will also help you develop a style of your own.
We can also cover Light Jazz , extensive chordal work and music theory.
