Three students in the top ten of a national TV show, “Nashville Star”. Four students on the Texas Top 50 Music Charts at the same time! Two Students enrolled in Belmont University and one a recent graduate from Berkley of Boston Mass. More than 50 students playing professionally, including leading praise groups in large churches, and these are just the ones I know of.

Some teachers will advertise by telling you how great they play and who all they play with. I’m going to tell you, sure I play great, sure I write good songs, but look at my students if you want to know what I can do for you.

I am guitar teacher John DeFoore, and I have been teaching guitar and songwriting since 1964. When I wasn’t playing on the road or between bands, I taught. I played a lot in London England, and the southwestern states, and west Texas, and taught classes for Abilene Christian University, McMurry University, Southern Methodist University as well as private lessons in London England, Abilene, Dallas and now Mineola, East Texas.
