I have always felt that learning to play an instrument, and then playing only other people's music, was a journey only half completed. Since the mid 70's I have taught people from 8 to 85 years old to write their own original songs. I have or have had students writing songs from rock to country, folk to Jazz. I know that most people don’t think that they can write, but give me a chance and I will prove otherwise. Just check out my students' original songs on the student page.
